Here is the place to find everything you need to know about the current housing situation at Whiteman AFB. 

Whiteman has a variety of housing plans depending on rank and family size. Please consult the Housing Office for information on which housing you are approved for. There is a total of 989 houses on Whiteman AFB. Of these, one is general officer's quarter, nine are colonel's quarter, 56 field grade officer and 62 company grade officer. There are also 76 senior NCO, 710 junior NCO and 75 units for airman. Most personnel will wait no longer than 12 months for a house but be sure to submit the advance application for housing with one copy of orders if you would like to be on the waiting list the first day of the month prior to your date of arrival.

Most of Whiteman's units are duplexes though some single standing units are available for field grade officers, company grade officers, and senior NCOs. All units include a gas stove, electric refrigerator, garbage disposal, central heating and air conditioning, and washer/dryer hook-ups. Several units have dishwashers and ceiling fans. Most non-basement units have beautiful wood floors; units with basements have tile floors. Many houses have outdoor storage units with carports and both are being added to houses that don't already have this feature.
