Buckley AFB is located in a suburb of Denver called Aurora.  It offers a variety of shopping and entertainment opportunities. If you are willing to drive a bit further you can experience the beauty of the Rocky Mountains as well as numerous tourist attractions. There is something for everyone within a short distance of the base!

Aurora- Buckley's host city is filled with cultural diversity and all of the fun activities that go with it. 

Denver- Whatever you are looking for you should find it in Metro Denver or its many suburbs.

Boulder- Located about an hour from Buckley AFB, this college town will attract many to its trendy clubs and shops.

Colorado Springs - Visit Pikes Peak, Seven Falls, or stop to see Santa Claus at the North Pole only one hour from Buckley.

Places to See- Colorado offers many interesting tourist attractions within a day drive!
