Hill AFB has a
variety of base housing depending upon rank and family size of service
member. The on-base housing is divided into 4 main areas.
They range in age from those built in the 1930s to the newest which were
built in 1998. All units have appliances and evaporative coolers;
some have basements. The Hill AFB housing is privatized;
meaning you receive your BAH then pay it to the developer who controls
the housing area. Rents are set at your BAH with dependant rate.
The wait for base housing ranges from 2 - 12 months.
Advance
applications (DD Form 1746) can be made through the Housing Referral Office,
as soon as you have PCS orders. Form can be retrieved at
www.airforcehousing.hq.af.mil or through your base housing office.
Be sure to report to the Hill AFB Housing Office to complete your
application upon arrival.
